The Montecristo Linea 1935 line is a recent addition to the brands portfolio being released in 2017. They contain an original blend of tobacco from the Pinar del Río region to create the strongest flavours with the most intensity within the Montecristo line. The Dumas is a Prominente Corto vitola, with a 49 ring gauge and 130mm in length, which is comparable to a Short Robusto.
Taste Note
Pre light we found aromas of earth and cedar wood, while the opening gave off vegetal notes at first that quickly transitioned into a delicious mix of coffee, caramel and touches of vanilla and leather.
We highly recommend purchasing a box if given the opportunity, The presentation of the box is stunning, boasting a dark brown matte Carmelite lacquer finish and unique beveled edges, finished with an engraved with a fleur-de-lis that has become synonymous with the Montecristo brand from its inception.
